Week 6

These photographs are about textures. Textures have all been found in my immediate environment. In concerntrating on texture it allows the objects and organisms to be seen anew, seeing a certain part of them in isolation and seeing them objectively for their surface qualities rather than seeing them as a whole.

In photographing texture we are trying to evoke the imagination into a sensation of touch but only using visual information.

In isolating the areas of some photographs it is made difficult to identify the object in it's entirety and this causes us to think about them in a new way.
