Week 5

The aim of these images was to emphasize the shape of these five objects by silhouetting them against natural light and allowing the viewer to interpret the images. By selective framing, clues have been removed as to where the images were taken and how they were suspended against the sky.

We associate the sky with size and objects of a large scale and by showing these objects against the sky it becomes difficult to judge how big the objects are, so they gain epic and heroic qualities.
